Wild About The Gap – Floating or Finding Your Way?

Do you ever feel like you’re just floating through life?

Like you’re moving forward, checking the boxes, doing all the things… but somewhere deep inside, questions start to surface. Quiet at first, then louder if you let them.

Am I where I’m supposed to be?

Is this the right career path for me?

Am I truly helping people the way I should?

Do the people in my life share my values?

Are they lifting me up… or holding me back?

At some point, we all arrive at this place—the space between comfort and curiosity. The gap where reflection lives.

And if we’re honest, the hardest part isn’t asking the questions.

It’s being willing to listen to the answers.

Because the answers might nudge us. Stretch us. Even challenge us to change.

We’ve heard it our whole lives:

It’s never too late to learn something new.

Life is too short to be unhappy.

Make your mark on this world.

But how often do we actually pause long enough to ask ourselves—am I living this?

When I take a step back and really look at my life, I realize there are some answers I’m confident in. I know I’m surrounded by a strong, loving, supportive circle. That’s a blessing I don’t take for granted.

My career? It fills my cup in ways that matter. Yes, there are overwhelming days—more than I sometimes care to admit—but there’s also purpose in what I do. I can see the impact. I can see the progress. And I can see how much more is still ahead.

And maybe that’s the beauty of it all—we’re not meant to have everything perfectly figured out. We’re meant to grow, to question, to adjust, and to keep moving forward with intention.

As for making my mark?

I’ve realized it doesn’t have to be loud or grand to be meaningful.

I choose kindness.

I choose to help where I can.

I choose to support, to love, and to encourage the people in my life.

Because at the end of the day, that’s what people remember.

That’s what creates ripples far beyond what we can see.

Maybe that’s the secret to a good life—not having all the answers, but being willing to ask the right questions… and then living in a way that aligns with what matters most.

So if you find yourself in that “floating” space, wondering and questioning—don’t rush out of it.

There’s something powerful waiting for you in that gap.
